Whether it’s freshly gathered produce, mouth-watering street food, vintage items or handmade treasures, there are 5 Brisbane markets you can’t miss while you’re in town. 
 

Eat Street Markets

When: 4-10pm every Friday and Saturday night
Where: MacArthur Avenue, Hamilton Wharf
What: Located on a disused shipping container wharf, each container has its own unique sensory delight. From boutique beer, to international cuisine and wacky but wonderful desserts, this market is ideal for the street food fan.
 

Riverside at the Pier Markets

When: 7am-3pm every Sunday
Where: Eagle Street Pier, Brisbane CBD
What: For more than 22 years, these markets have been popular among locals and tourists for the vast range of arts, crafts, handmade jewellery, food and clothing set along the banks of the iconic Brisbane River. 
 

The Collective Markets

When: 5pm-9pm Friday, 10am-9pm Saturday, 9am-4pm Sunday
Where: Stanley Street Plaza, South Bank
What: Located in one of Brisbane’s most vibrant precincts, the Collective Markets take on the inspired works of local artists. From arts and crafts, to homewares, designer fashion and exotic items, this is the ideal market for those seeking some handmade handicrafts. 
 

Carseldine Farmers and Artisan Markets

When: 6am-12pm every Saturday
Where: 532 Beams Road, Carseldine
What: On Brisbane’s north side, Carseldine Markets are quickly becoming the largest farmers markets in the area. Boasting more than 180 stalls of the freshest locally sourced food products, street food and crafts, the sights, smells and tastes will have you coming back for more. 
 

Brisbane MarketPlace

When: 6am-12pm every Saturday and Sunday
Where: Sherwood Road, Rocklea
What: Whatever you’re looking for, this diverse market has you covered with two styles to choose from; Saturday’s Fresh Market and Sunday’s Discovery Market. For the foodies and nature lovers, Saturday is packed with a range of plants, fresh produce and delicious cuisine. Sunday is ideal for those seeking collectables, books, pre-loved items and general bric-a-brac.
